Vroom Vroom

This morning I washed the towels and rugs from our bathroom. I hung one of the rugs over the banister to dry. Later in the day, Michael pulled the rug down and layed in on the carpet in the piano room and said "It's roads, Mama." I wasn't listening very carefully and told him to put the rug back up and he said with more emphasis
" It's ROADS, Mama!". Then I took a second to see what he was talking about and he was pointing at the rug. He saw "roads" in the rug where the different patterns in the pile were. He was so thrilled with his discovery! He proceeded to set ALL of his little cars up on the "roads" and played with them for quite some time. Meredith even got into the game and brought down some cars from Michael's bedroom. He was very careful and very precise in how he set his cars up. They are all facing forward and they are all touching. It was the cutest thing ever, listening to the car noises he was making and watching his cars "drive" around the roads. He is SUCH a boy!!! And... I love it!!
