Couch Time

I love me a Handy Man

This week was SO exciting because I got things fixed around the house. I hired "Don's Handyman Service" and 2 guys came to the house and fixed the electric problem with the hall light and porch light, the gas fireplace, and my broken screen door. On Saturday, Patrick repaired the sprayer on the kitchen sink. I feel like I live in a new place!!!! I am SO thrilled to have these things done, I'm barely noticing my dirty carpet.

Today, some of our neighbors were getting rid of an old couch - which wasn't really old at all! And... da da da - it was FREE!! So, the girls and I pushed it down the sidewalk from their house to ours, then Patrick and I hauled it inside. The rest of the day was spent rearranging the house with Marky. I've created a monster with her - she LOVES to rearrange furniture. It runs deep within her blood. The couch looks perfect in the living room and will provide much needed seating when all of Patrick's family visits us in December. It was such a FUN day!
