Rain, rain go away
It is day 2 of summer vacation, and it is raining. It has gone from pouring to drizzling, but its still coming down. It is sort of a bummer since most of our fun summer plans involve being outdoors. We're all a little disappointed to be stuck inside. I love that my flowers and yard are getting a good dousing though. They need it!!! I put some "Miracle Grow" on everything on Saturday and I am looking forward to see what all of this moisture does to add to the beauty of my flowers. Don't you wish there was 'Miracle Grow" for other parts of life? It would be great to just take a shower in it and have spectacular, transforming results when you were finished. Guess thats what Galatians 5 is all about, the process of growth. Nothing else but the Holy Spirit managing my life will produce miracles in my life. And then on to Galatians 6 where Paul tells me "don't get tired of doing what is good. don't get discouraged and give up; for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time." Things I've been thinking about... I also had this thought this morning as I was at the dentist getting my teeth cleaned. I think that is probably the most disgusting job EVER. I'm really glad that someone does it, but how awful... I'm just so happy that I get to play with people's hair and not their mouths. I am more than blessed.
